Cooking Classes

Roots cooking classes offers a unique experience in Charlotte where individuals can come and learn new cooking skills, expand upon existing expertise and discover new foods right in their local area.  Roots focuses on sourcing most all food from farmers in and around NC. Our classes will show you how to be creative with fresh, local food in a variety of different dishes from appetizers to full course meals.

We also offer team building cooking classes and classes geared towards corporate workshops where employees can learn new skills while working with each other in a new environment. Please see our drop down tab under Classes for more information along with a form to fill out to request a specialized corporate team building class.

The classes are 2 hours long and are held in a commercial kitchen in Charlotte.  We have talented, professional chefs that will guide you through each class to offer a hands on experience that you won’t forget. From North Charlotte: Take I-77 S/ US 21 S to exit 7 for Clanton Rd. Turn left at the light onto Clanton Rd. Turn left onto St. Vardell Ln. At the end of St Vardell Ln take the 2nd entrance on the left. Turn right and follow the building to the left. Roots will be building 3410, Ste D on the left hand side.
