Camp Food vs Roots

Roots wins all day erryday. After a few days on the trails, grubbin’ on dehydrated meals, bars, and oatmeal, I am so ready for some Roots tacos! Aren’t you?? Got some great ones on the menu today. We’ll be Uptown across from the Duke building. It’s pretty Springy outside too, so it’s a great day to take a little walk.

We will not be at Innovation Park tomorrow due to a private event, but you all can catch us at Birdsong Brewing for Thursty Thursday tomorrow night! If you haven’t been to their new location yet, definitely check it out this week. It’s a great post-work spot to unwind, catch up with your buddies, or make some new ones.

Panko Crusted Striped Bass with heirloom tomato and mango salsa topped with lemon basil aioli

Braised Beef Brisket

Spice Rubbed beef brisket, braised in a beef demi glace, with mixed greens, black eye pea salad and chopped cilantro

Roasted Chicken

Poultry Junction roasted chicken with sweet chili purple cabbage,  bacon marinated purple asparagus and Avocado Cream and sesame seeds

Patatas Bravas

Creamy Herb roasted potatoes, sautéed bell peppers and onions with tangy tomato gravy, greens and slivered green onions

Creamy Sweet Potato Fire Roasted Pasta Salad
