Taco Day is finally here!

Fact. If you work in uptown Charlotte, you’ve probably visited our food truck at least once. I know many of you frequent the truck on Wed and Thurs and we truly appreciate your support! If you haven’t made it out to a Taco Wednesday yet (*gasp!), know that you are invited to make it a part of your weekly lunch routine and you won’t regret it. And remember, if you have a gluten-free diet we will gladly serve your tacos over greens instead of in tortillas.

Need something fun to scroll through on your work break…or during that dull meeting…? Check out our friend Stephanie Haviv’s blog. She spent some time with our food truck and takes amazing photos!

For today’s menu we have so many great local ingredients to work with that Kyle and Craig could not decide what to make, so they both went home and came up with separate ideas, then came back to work and mashed them together. We can only take half of the credit for this menu, the other half goes to the farmers. We have to do less cooking when the ingredients are this good.

Friday Night is Upon Us!

It’s that time again! Time for a fantastic evening at Sycamore Brewing. There will be live music out in the beer garden by Little District and a delicious menu by yours truly. Take a scan at the menu below and just try to resist stopping by…you and I both know that’s not going to happen. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our other truck will be heading out to a neighborhood block party, which will also be fun times! We love renting out the food truck for house parties, so if you’re planning a fun shin dig this year be sure to inquire about our food truck joining the festivities! You can check out some details here and email andrea@rootsfarmfood.com

Tomorrow we’re starting the day off right with serving breakfast at Wedgewood Farmers Market. It’s right at Tyvola and Wedgewood, so if you live in that area it’s a quick walk or bike ride. Many people were doing that last weekend and loved it. If you have to drive, no worries, because there’s plenty of parking. We’ll be there with hot or cold brew coffee from Enderly Coffee. The breakfast menu will be posted later so be sure to check back. Or just show up between 9am-12pm, you won’t be disappointed!
