Hungry or thirsty?

Get yourself out to Birdsong Brewing tonight! It’s Thursty Thursday and their small batch they’re tapping tonight is C.R.E.A.M…a coconut cream ale with vanilla bean and fresh spearmint. Yum. Can’t wait to try that deliciousness. I’ll probably pair it with our Veggie Burger and some Dueling Hummus. So maybe it’s not an official pairing, but I bet it will still be perfect.

#instabeerupclt AND Fake Plastic Trees?!

We’re looking forward to the good times happening tonight at Birdsong Brewing! They’re releasing a hoppy wheat beer called “Fake Plastic Trees” which is just so intriguing. And the #instabeerupclt event is going down too, which is an opportunity to mingle with some great Charlotte peeps. Here’s what we’re serving tonight. I want all of it.

Got plans tonight? No, you say? Perfect. Come out to Birdsong Brewing for Thursty Thursday! Tonight is extra special because they’re hosting a fundraiser raffle for their employee Matthew to help cover his medical expenses from a recent car accident he was involved in. They’re raffling lots of awesome prizes including tickets to South End Hops Festival, Beer Me Brewfest, & Amazing Taste- Progressive Beer Dinner, &Charlotte Knights! They also have other goodies & a gift card to Fu’s Custom Tattoo! Raffle tickets are only $1, so come on out and show some love! They’re also releasing a special Maple Brown Ale as tonight’s small batch for #THURStyTHURSday!

Three’s Company

Third wheel. 3 legged race. Triple run. 3 strikes. Three seems to be our new theme for Thursday, as we’ll be at 3 spots now! Innovation Park and Uptown (across from Duke building, same place as Wed) for lunch and then Birdsong Brewing for din din. Hopefully one of those spots works for you! It’s Thursty Thursday at Birdsong which means they tap a new small batch every week, and tonight is a roasted carrot saison named “Cecilia”. Sounds like dinner in a cup to me. Okay maybe an appetizer because I’ll still want real food from Roots. AND they have live music tonight, so plan to stop by after work and be chillin’ like a villain.

Batter batter swing!

Today is National Take a Chance Day, so I say why not come out to the truck and do just that. Have you been to a Charlotte Knights game yet this season? Always a good time.

We’re at Innovation Park (university area) today for lunch, then off to Birdsong Brewing tonight, 5pm-9pm. It’s Thursty Thursday y’all! There will be live music, a free brewery tour at 6:30pm, and they’ll be tapping their “Babalu” IPA. Sounds like something out of the Jungle Book or Lion King. Awesome.

Looking ahead to Friday, we’ll be inside the Duke building for lunch (4th floor). You’re also invited to get a complimentary Roots taco lunch at Fifth Third Bank in Concord (871 Church Street North), from 11:30am-1:30pm. Come on out, you know the trek is worth it!

You’re Thursty!

We’re getting ready for a warm night out at Birdsong Brewing tonight. Remember, they moved here. Come out for Thursty Thursday, get a cold one and some Roots food to pair with it. I’m thinking the Jalapeno Ale and our Sriracha Mac Bites…if you like some spice. I know a lot of you do. Or try our new Striped Bass Taco before we run out.

Tomorrow is Friday, woop woop! Do your pre-Friday dance please. We will be serving lunch inside the Duke building on the 4th floor and then out at Sycamore Brewing for dinner.

You’re probably already in the know about this, but this Saturday, April 4th is the grand opening for Birdsong Brewing at their new location!
