Who’s Thirsty?

Got plans tonight? No, you say? Perfect. Come out to Birdsong Brewing for Thursty Thursday! Tonight is extra special because they’re hosting a fundraiser raffle for their employee Matthew to help cover his medical expenses from a recent car accident he was involved in. They’re raffling lots of awesome prizes including tickets to South End Hops Festival, Beer Me Brewfest, & Amazing Taste- Progressive Beer Dinner, &Charlotte Knights! They also have other goodies & a gift card to Fu’s Custom Tattoo! Raffle tickets are only $1, so come on out and show some love! They’re also releasing a special Maple Brown Ale as tonight’s small batch for #THURStyTHURSday!

All Beef hot dog, infused with Sriracha topped with sweet chili ginger slaw

Taco Up!

Let’s get ready to ruuuumble! And by rumble I mean eat lots of Roots tacos today. Or maybe you feel like a burger today? Don’t fret, we’ve got a hamburguesa taco on the menu today to take care of that craving. We are Uptown today AND tomorrow for lunch, right across from the Duke building. Here’s today’s menu below, and be on the lookout for tomorrow’s menu…tomorrow morning. Genius thought I know.

Taco Day Uptown

Honey Balsamic Taco

Poultry Junction roasted chicken  dressed with honey balsamic, orange zested brussel sprouts and red onions

BBQ Pork

Braised pork with NC BBQ sauce, crispy red and green cabbage, golden delicious apples and a candied jalapeno aioli

Hamburguesa Taco

Painted Hills grass fed ground beef, greens, sesame seed marinated tomatoes, red onions, sweet potato fries and Special Sauce (a spin on 1000 Island)

Veggie Taco

Roasted potatoes tossed in lime cilantro vinaigrette, greens and an avocado puree


Green Salad

Cucumber, tomato, onions and balsamic herb vinaigrette

Italian Pasta Salad

Salami, soppressata, tomatoes, green pepper, basil, oregano and a red wine tomato vinaigrette

Bev it up!

It’s National Beverage Day! Just wanted to keep you in the know, so you have some small talk content while hydrating at the water cooler at work. Or you can talk about how it’s Taco Day uptown and discuss what tacos you’re going to savor today. Did you know you can get your tacos served over greens instead of in tortillas? Just ask!

Another important piece of knowledge is that we’ll also be in our Uptown spot tomorrow! Innovation Park will be happening too. AND Birdsong Brewing for supper time. Stay tuned for those menus later on. And we’d be thrilled to see your face today…and tomorrow.
